I didn't realize how lucky I was to find CMM! Our bed was designed for an 8" thick European queen mattress and I was thrilled to finally have one that fit, but my expectation was that I would simply tolerate sleeping on the Largo medium-firm. I have hated the standard queen memory foam mattress we were replacing and thought that the Largo might at best be a slight improvement. To my surprise and delight, this mattress is not just better, but ideal! It has good pressure relief, not quite as good as the memory foam, but without sinking in very far, so it is easy to roll over or move. It has excellent support for my back, which has a longstanding lumbar injury. Most important of all, I no longer sweat each night! I had originally wanted the Clearwater firm, thinking airflow would be better, but I worried about stability on our sprung slat support. I am so glad that I decided on the Largo. I can't imagine a better sleep experience for me (125 lb, 5'7"), and my husband (215 lb, 6') is just as pleased. The Largo has the added advantage of weighing more than 40% less than the Clearwater. This makes it very easy for me to move or rotate by myself and when it is finally ready for disposal, I can simply cut it into pieces to fit in my car. I like the Largo so much that I will get one for our regular twin bed with an upholstered foundation, despite not needing anything custom.

As important as the mattress itself was the ordering experience. This was my first time ordering a custom mattress, but I felt very confident. First, the details about the mattress components are prominently displayed on the website, which is not the case for many other firms. In addition, Brenna answered numerous questions regarding mattress construction and compatibility with our sprung slat support system and consulted with Jake as well. Communication was excellent throughout the process, the mattress shipped in less than 2 weeks and the instructions for unpacking and expanding were easy. I can't think of any improvements.

I am totally amazed at the quality and accuracy of the cut of the mattress. It fits perfectly in the bunk bed of my rv. After sleeping on it ….I am not waking up with back pain or feeling like I slept on a board. This is the best thing that anyone can do for the quality of sleep vs a cheap rv mattress. Love my mattress my words are not enough praise for the quality and comfort!

All is well with the new mattress I ordered. It perfectly fits the antique youth bed made by my husband's great grandfather in the 1930's. It gives ergonomic support too. Our grandchild will soon be sleeping peacefully on the 'Custom Mattress Maker' that rest on her great, great, great grandfather's custom made bed! Thank you CMM!

We ordered a custom 8" foam mattress for an antique bed, which arrived promptly, and was incredibly well-made. Having ordered foam mattresses and matteess toppers in the past, we thought we'd have to put the new mattress in the basement to off-gas, but it had no odor whatsoever! We were able to zip it into its custom cover and use it right away. I would highly recommend Custom Mattress Makers!

We have a set of twin beds that were custom made back in the 1940’s. I was so happy to find Custom Mattress Makers to build two platforms to fit the beds perfectly! They arrived in good shape and just took minutes to assemble. We are super happy with the end product.

I had two mattresses made to fit the lower bunk. This bunk swings up and locks so you can use the area for storage during travel. Using two mattresses, I can stand them up, then raise and lock the bed. I placed my order on July 3rd and received the mattresses on the 15th. Couldn't be happier with the fit and how they feel. I will definitely use CMM again.

Douglas the dragon loves his new Cape Gel mattress! It replaced the RV's stock mattress, which was not nearly as plush and comfy (and also too long for the platform beneath). Delivery and setup was a breeze. Highly recommended for all sleep-deprived RVers and their serpent companions.

Mattress size was perfect!

After a month with our split mattress and foundation I'm still amazed how comfortable it is! Hands down the best we've ever had and finally the right fit for our European frame.
